    Beolab Penta 2 No Stand by - Need help

    Hey, guys, have a Beolab Penta 2
    No stand-by - Fuses located in the bottom part is OK
    Does anyone have knowledge which mistakes are behind this error.

    Hi,

    how is the Penta connected to the amp? PowerLink or Cinch or Speakerlink?

    Could be a defekt Powerlink cable. Or wrong source selected...powerlink used, but line selected.

    I am very sorry I wrote wrong, I have no stand-by, even if the fuse is ok.

    No standby LED?

    Then either the fuses are defect, there are 2 of them... 1x for the standby transformer and 1x for the power amp.

    Check with an ohmmeter wether there is some resistance on the power cord, there should be something around 300 Ohms. If there is a open loop, then the fuse or the standby transformer is gone...

    Hello again, Beolab Penta som are OK = 300 Ohms and the Beolab Penta with error had = 275 Ohms.
