    MC / MCL question

Hi all, I know Kevin was linking rooms via some older posts... Thanks to everyone for the help so far.

My situation is, i'm connecting a BS9000 with a masterlink cable to a Beolink converter, then on to the AV7000 (surround processor), from there on to the 4 active speakers via Powerlink.

Question is, if I wanted to do link other rooms. How do i do that, ???  From the AV7000? or from the Converter before the AV7000.

I'd like to add some beolab 5000 active speakers in 2 or 3 other rooms in the house and have as much control over them as possible.

Thanks in advance for any help. Keith

If you are linking rooms, I would use ML from the BS9000 as that is the more modern system. Especially if you are going to use active speakers.

Okay, so Peter, the 1 masterlink off the bs9000 is going to the converter, then i think it's datalink to the AV7000....

So that Masterlink off the 9000, can it be split?? if so how?? then off to the hockey puck eyes??? yes??  Thanks Peter a ton..

Nearly! It goes to a control box called a Beolink Active to which the hockey puck attaches. The speakers attach to the control box. The ML wire can indeed be split.

    Best of luck.

Great Peter...so is the ML splitter a simple cable from BO? Then one end into the AV7000 and the other to the BO active?? Thanks,
