HI Guys, I finally found a used MCP 6500 for my Beomaster 6500, but when I try to use the MCP, it said no contact when I press any buttons. Does the MCP 6500 need to be programmed to link up with my Beomaster 6500? Thanks in advance.
Frank
yes, I have a BEolink 1000 too, but it doesn't seems to work either. How do I set the option to 1 again?
Thanks
Set the system to standby then
With your Beolink 1000
SOUND 1 STORE
The standby light on the system should blink if the command is received and your remotes should now work.
Regards Graham
Still nothing, I wonder if the Beomaster 6500 is not receiving. any other possibilities? thanks.
Is your beolink 1000 definately working OK?
If you know it is, then try pressing the AV button once then retry as above.
Chris.
The use of metaphors should be avoided like the plague. They're like a red rag to a bull to me.
finally found someone with a Beomaster 5500 to try the remotes, the remotes are working, it is my Beomaster 6500 that is not receiving.
Thanks for all the help though
Frank, it could still be an option problem. Try what Chris said about the AV button.Oh, and make sure you are within range of your Beomaster.
