Hi,

I have a 5 year old Beovision Avant 28" RF DVD, nad am loahted to get rid of it until the LCD technology can provide a picture of comparable quality.

However, it has recently started playing up with regard to the picture formatting.

If I watch Sat, the picture format usually goes to option 2 and then I have to manually overide it to option 3. When watching DVD, the screen is usually not filled left to right - I know that you sometimes get the letterbox effect but this is not the problem. Ocasionally, the Avant will turn on all five speakers then revert to 3 and so on.

 Is there a specific module within the Avant that looks after picture formatting and if so can it be chanegd easily?
