No - the MCP5000 will NOT work with the Beomaster 3300 as they use different IR codes.

What can you do? Get a beolink 1000 & now is definately the time to buy one. Recent ebay prices seem to suggest you can pick one up for around £20 at the moment.

    Chris.

The use of metaphors should be avoided like the plague. They're like a red rag to a bull to me.

Re: Master control panel 5000 witrh beosystem 3300?

None of the Master Control Panels will work with a Beomaster 3300.
It would take a huge reprogramming (rebuild!) to make it work.
The Master Control Panel relies on the Beomaster to answer back, which a Beomaster 3300 cannot do.
As Chris suggests, get a Beolink 1000. It will work and prices are low right now.
Alternatively a Terminal 3300 but that may be more expensive, harder to find and the
general opinion seems to be that it is not as stylish a remote as the Beolink 1000.

An MCP5500 will work - but only one way. You will be able to control the system but you won't get feedback.

    Peter :

...and it will be extremely annoying, as I recall the MCP won't allow another keypress until the previous one has timed out with "no contact"! Volume control especially will have you throwing the MCP out of the window in no time...
