Well i proudly shot of down to London today to pick up my Beovision 26 HD ready, and ended up getting home and finding out it was a Beocentre 23(with DAB module but no HDMI slot). After you finish laughing here's a question. It does have a DVI connection at the back, can i connect this to SKY HD and watch the appropriate signal? I am aware i would need to run the audio independently. Please help A Beovision 10-40 in black and red fret on order, Beo4, Beo6, many A8's, a pair of white and yellow Form 2's, Beocom 4, 28 inch Avant RF DVD, Apple TV and a wife that loves this stuff as much as i do!  | |

Yes, you can use the DVI for the HD signal and do the Audio seperately.  However, having a DVI socket doesn't always mean there's something actually behind it.  Go into the DTV settings and see if it gives you the option of DVI-I... You can go into the setup menu and change those you know!  Just highlight them, then scroll through the options. In fact, try STB - preferably STB(DTV) if it gives the option. Keep in mind - early models of the 6-23/26 were NOT HD READY!
Without an upgrade with the HD-ready kit - only non HDCP (non copy protected) video content,
e.g pictures from your computer can be displayed - but NOTHING DELIVERED by a  BluDisc or a HD-Cable/Sat receiver ...

Add "PC" to your Beo4 "LIST" and try to access the DVI-Input - it should be an DVI-Integrated input and
should handle VGA as well as DVI signals.
 4 digit Type# or the Ser# of your TV would help  ... | |
