No Cover? Use your own picture instead of B&O original

    Hi,

    I've just discovered the following:

If your music has NO cover, the Beosound 5  shows a default cover (white sphere or s.th.  like this).

It is possible to exchange that for your own picture :-)

There are 3 files in the Beomaster/Data directory:

    - 0coverDefaultSmall   (PNG)
    - 0coverDefaultMedium   (JPG)
    - 0coverDefaultLarge   (PNG)

You can replace these files with your own pictures!
I've just tested it with the "0coverDefaultLarge" png file and it works like a charme.

Be sure to make a backup of the original files and rename them e.g. "backup_0coverDefaultLarge.png" and then copy your own file into the directory.
Use an image editor to identify the dimensions of the picture. I tested the large picture (500x500 pixel).

I find the coverimage at google.dk and then change the name to Folder.jpg and it works fine.

I didn't refer to covers of the original album:

The BS 5 uses default pictures if it can not find any album cover and I changed the systems default picture!
