Ok, So Mark 2 Pentas have Powerlink and the old 4 (or 5?) connectors as well. Can I have the Powerlink cabled up to a TV and also at the same time have the older connector cabled up to say a Beomaster 5500? I suspect yes but would the speakers work with both setups??? (not at the same time obviously...

The System’s History : Original owners were my grandparents in Miami, Florida. They never used the system as they were old and the only reason they had it was because their designer put it in the house. The way the system was mounted—all the cables ran behind the wall. The power cable on...

Dear Peter, dear ALLmany thanks for your fast reply! - An answer often brings up more questions :-)... maybe you Peter, or anyone else in this marvellous forum can easily answer them: 1. Isn^t there in the speakerlink any other information transfered to the power amp aside the 2 DIN-wires - i.e. are...

Hi all, I have posted questions related to this issue in the General Forum, but I guess this is the more appropriate forum for things B&O which have died... I have now spend hours working on this Penta III amp unit and have had no luck. I began with the powerlink cables, and the BC9500 and can confidently...

I've faced a problem: one of Beolab Penta loudspeakers has stoped working! It seems that the amplifier (which is supposed to be Beolab 150) no longer works: no red/green indication when it is connected to the power point. Ideas what it could be and how to repair it? Appreciate any help.

I cannot get the pentas to fire up whatever i try. i have set the link room to option 6 on the L.OPT. the IR module responds...

Is that the grey panel or speaker fret you're referring to? I presume it's the plastic panel... if so, you could simply use a little blue-tack! It's hardly a pristine repair but it should hold it... Good luck, Alex.

Well, it is like this... I have a Beocenter 9000 with a pair of generation 1 Pentas. Currently the cd player is busted, or more like the plastic part that holds the cd down is gone. So I'm using a generic cd changer through the aux port. The real problem is that sound only comes out of one speaker...
