Presumably a ML problem; I presume the BC2 is ML connected? It should! if you don't have any speakers connected to the BC2 the option should be option 0

in a browser try: <ip_address_of_the_QNap>:9000 if Twonky sees the music files, you will see: Music. Select this and see for yourself if the Twonky server has collected the files. To adjust the Twonky settings try: <ip_address_of_the_QNap>:9000/config. Just to be sure: which format do the music files have?

How do you have the NAS and the BS5e connected? Wired or wireless? Are they connected?

If the Media Server / Upnp / Dlna is switched on the Qnap, than the location of your media files do not matter for the BS5e. But notice that the server on your NAS must know where you have placed the files / it must know where to find the files. Try <your NAS IP address>:9000/config in your browser (if you have enabled the server). Qnap uses Twonky

Choose: 1. Mode 2. Settings 3. press >> twice than GO (>>, >> GO) 4. Service Settings 5. Music Storage 6. select the given name of the Twonky-server
