    Isn't that failry counterintuitive though? Clearly, from the restrictions of the BS5, some potential customers may decide not to upgrade. Not sure that is the most long-term efficient marketing solution (not that I know much about marketing). Seems to me that you don't want to alienate faithful customers by producing an item that is unuserfriendly

    woooo, did anyone notice the awesome animation that one can now do on the launch site. You can make a magical circle rotate or not, spriral into infinity, and change speed and color, AND you can send it as an email. Wait, this reminds me of something.....(wait a few minutes)....there it is! my screensaver does exactly the same thing! sorry but this

    Indeed, if the BS5 is just like a big ipod (fancy that!) then where is the connectivity with the rest of the BO equipment. Seems to me that even ipods come with their own little controls nowadays. It is hard to see this as explained by beoberlin, as anything less that infuriating.     unpluging did nothing. It really annoys me, because when i first turned it on, the sound was crystal clear. Then i plugged in the cable, that didnt work and i was getting bad background noises, and NOW these background noises are on whenever I turn the radio or the cd...that's what really drives me up the wall.

  • BS1 ruined in 10 minutes!

    Well, got my new shiny BS1, was really excited. First the cd then the radio, awesome sound. Then i try to plug a gold plated MIDI-jack cable, press AUX and try to play my ipod. I get a really annoying deep background noise coming from the BS, but choose to ignore it, but regardless the ipod doesnt play on the BS. So i unplug the cable, and then play
