Hi Jorgen, Nice to see that you have started to repair your Beolit 39. Here's a picture of the chassis of my Beolit 39. It's a bit older than yours and has serial number 37880. You can see that mine doesn't have the ceramic resistors. Rudy

Having a closer look, I can see 2 circles just above the left knob. I asume these must be the 2 little cups for the needles . Congratulations, you found an original master 38 RG chassis and board. Is it complete with the record player? Rudy

It's indeed a very nice set. The printing of the dial glass is also in very good condition. I'm not surpirsed about the opening bid. It's not a bargain, on the other hand I've seen sets selling for similar or even much higher prices, if in perfect condition.
