I have hooked the two up with the DIN cable from the turntable into the 9000 socket but I have to turn the speakers up really high to hear anything. Should I be using the turntable in this way or do I need a pre amp between them? Cheers Glenn

Thanks for the replies. it is a combined base and charger without a button. If there are any more suggestions for registering the base to the handset without going back to the shop I would be glad to hear them. Many thanks glug

Is that a simple procedure or should a dealer take care of it? thanks

I have recently replaced a faulty transformer that was failing to charge the handset. The handset now charges and the menu functions are working but the 'Information' screen is constantly on and when I press OK the display says 'No contact with base'. Can you tell me how to move on from this problem? Many thanks

Some seem to think B&O is second rate gear dressed up to fleece the stupid rich. Anyone going to put them straight with some technical info'? http://forums.seloc.org/viewthread.php?tid=196867 Quote; " Okay, this is getting way off-topic now, but yes. *I am* missing the point. Yeah thanks, I guessed from that my options are limited. I will now invest in the separate Microsoft cables for picture and AV. Regards glug

We do not have the RCA connections, only DVI that has an adapter attached so that the STB HDMI can be plugged in to the BV5, 3x SCART, 2x coaxial input, one of which is used by the STB( optical out of STB to a converter box to co axial cable into coaxial input). Thanks glug
