  • Re: BeoCenter 9500

So there's several known issues with the CD mecha? By the way; I have found one seriously nice 9500, but there's one thing that makes me wonder. On the 9500's I've noticed that there's printed "BeoCenter 9XXX" on the upper left side of the system. But on the one I've found, there's written nothing at all! Only "Bang

  • BeoCenter 9500

Hello dear BeoFriends. I'm || this close to buy the Lab3's, and are looking for a system to match. A friends parents had the BeoCenter 9500 some years ago, and I really like the design. As I understand, the 9500 comes with powerlink connections, so that I can use the Lab3's and other Labs. The reason I wrote this post, was to get some tips

  • Re: BeoLab 4 as rear speakers?

After some listening last week, I really can't see why B&O makes the BL4's.. Even as rear speakers, my ears would've been tired after a short period of time. Go for the BL3's

  • Re: BeoLab3 vs BeoLab 4000

Yup, you got me there. I've changed my signature, just to make a joke. Unfortunately my profile hasn't changed yet, even though it should've (10 mins or so). So the joke's off BTW; I'm pretty sure it's going to be the BL3's this week, and probably the black version. I've seen the blue ones, and they sure look good, but

Oh, well.. I guess the answer to my headache is BeoLab 3 Frankly, I agree about the BL3's sounding better (distinctive and tight) than the 4000's, allthough the bass was a bit "fuller".

  • BeoLab3 vs BeoLab 4000

I auditioned the BeoLab3's a couple a of days ago, and was pretty stunned. Also I got to listen to the 4000's. They seemed a bit more "chunky" in the bass-area. Loudness was ofcourse turned off on both set-ups. The BeoLab 4's, as I mentioned before in another post, was pure and utterly crap in my opinion. What's your opinion

Hei, og takk for velkomsten! Ja, jeg har alt skriftlig. Selger bekrefter pr. e-post, med fullt navn, at varene er mine for kr 10.000,- Kjedelig sak, altså. Jeg får prøve igjen senere.

  • Re: BL 3 vs. BL 4

I auditioned the BL3's and BL4's today. The 4's were a huge disappointment. They sounded like if you place a speaker behind something. The clarity was.. there wasn't clarity at all. They remind me of a pair of Logitechs I used with a PC couple of years ago. Terrible. The BL3's, on the other hand, was definetly something to crave

  • Re: BL 3 vs. BL 4

Yup, I will do so. Follow my feelings, that is. Oh well.. that's the most expensive way to do it anyway ;) You're probably right about the 4's beaing the least cost/quality efficient. It's so frustrating; I just was outbid on a pair of BL3's here in Norway. My bid was app. 1200 Euros WITH floorstands ( 1 year old), and I got them

  • Re: BL 3 vs. BL 4

Ah.. That's what I thought. The BL4's really isn't my cup of tea design-wise. Price-wise, though :) The imaging and clarity of the 3's will probalby outrun the 4's. i understand that the 2 sidedrivers of BL3 are passive, but should probably help a littlebit in the lower frequency range.
