I agree, it was only the very last ones that had the VGA.

LOL, fair point! I think beauty is in the eye of the beholder - if it floats your boat at 1080i then go for it, progressive scan image will always (technically) be superior to an interlaced signal (source dependent I think!)

The 7-32 does not have a 1080p panel - did you think it did? 720p is superior to 1080i, I would go for that selection personally.

AV4 must be configured as PC. HDTV - DVI-I, sound is routed through the phono connectors automatically. Press LIST until you see PC and then GO

The only noticeable difference is the red power button on the MKII as opposed to being concealed on the MKIII. Software can be updated, N.MUSIC isn't exclusive to the MKIII. Properly cleaned and maintained, there are no reliability issues with the MKII and MKIII models are often sold at a premium.

....ay there's the rub - do any job which involves undoing screws only and the fear is you might void the warranty!!!
