Is anybody using the above and experiencing any problems? Have used Beoport with XP without problems such as mixed sound from PC as well (mixed sound turned off in config panel). Is Beoport Vista friendly?

I'll go for Beosound 9000 looks, Blu Ray/DVD/CD drive, Hard Drive to store audio (perhaps external if it would spoil the slim lines of the BS9000), DAB/FM Radio, Touchscreen interface displaying album covers/Information with DVI output for external monitor display.

LOL, I guess you ditched the Touchscreen requirement. But I ditched the B&O (apart from the amps) so we're equal.

Try this http://www.touchdiva.com/ well B&O make the amps.

I too would be happy to pay a monthy subscription fee. I would think of all the money I would have saved buying a TouchDiva rather than the Beosound 5 and be happy to spend all the cash I had saved.

I have seen plenty of MK1 panels paired with both Beosystem 2 and 3, although the latter arrangement is curious and IMHO should always be used with the later full HD panels. What would concern me is the age of the panel - it is imperative you have the serial number and then can trace the date it was bought by the dealer to confirm whether it was in

In the UK there is only a 42" 11 series available currently. No problems with the 10 series.

7-2 has no line switch. This can be overcome with using the 12v trigger on the Onkyo, hence why I advised Beolab 4000 which do have a line input and overcome the problem of switching on/off. Please don't go trying to put this cabling together without specialist advice. Steve can make up the relevant cables. steve@soundsheavenly.co.uk Might be contentious

The Onkyo will need to do the sound processing, the BS4 will have nothing to do with the speakers. Where is your centre channel or subwoofer? For ease I would recommend Beolab 4000 (a good match for 8000's) which similarly can be driven by line, there are plenty of postings about alternative subs to the Beolab 2. Try steve@soundsheavenly.co.uk

Tim, sorry to offer a non-technical and software related solution, but I have experienced this problem with low voltage lighting and electrical inteference from other IR emitting sources. Do you have any nearby?
