  • Re: B&O Batteries for Beo5 and Beocom2

I have exactly the same problem. The Beocom 2 replacements are available - saw one from the US on ebay but I too am trying to find out if the two wires are OK as the original has three wires. Don't know about the Beo 5.

  • Replacement Batteries for Beocom2 and Beo5

Hi, it looks like both rechargeable battery packs for my Beocom 2 (6 years old) and Beo 5 (2 years old) have deteriorated and not holding any charge. Beocom 2 replacememts are available online BUT my battery terminal (the small white micro plug internally) has three thin black wires whereas the online replacement battery packs have just two (a red and

  • Re: Beolab 5 calibration problem

Hi, you could try this. Its the B&O factory hard reset. Press and hold the field sensors for 20 - 30 secs. You will hear a distinct POP. This sequence takes the speakers back to factory rest values. My dealer whenever he comes over to my place (about twice a year as I have just bought the B&O BS3 & Projector System) and moves the speakers

  • Re: Pandora's boxed unopened

Roger, thanks for the response. I fixed the problem last night. I realised that when the PS3 is switched (also used by my sons) they have their own login and so if it was on via their login, the audio preferences for them were set to Scart and Composite Video cables rather than HDMI. So as soon as I changed the option to HDMI, put in a music DVD all

  • Pandora's boxed unopened

Hi all, I might be opening pandora's box here. This is about BS3 and DVD Audio decoding from music DVDs played on a PS3. My set up - A BV4 50", BS3 (4 months old), BLab 5s, Lab 3s (rear), Lab 10 (centre), BS9000. I have had no problem playing Blu Ray discs in the PS3 with great picture and I think (!!) good sound (anything sounds great through

Hi Dave, Yes I did try different tracks. The hiss and static is also noticeable when receiving a call too.

  • Serenata Hsssssssss....!!!

Hi all, I just bought a new Serenata from a reputable mobile retailer in the UK (Yes B&O have dumped these on the open market and they are now retailing for under GBP 500). However when I got it, charged it up and then played one of the pre-loaded tracks from B&O on it I was so disappointed to hear loud and intrusive hissing noise from the unit

  • Re: Beovision 5 Motorized floor stand

Hi, this may be good news and bad. I have one available which I have no use for as I now have my BV5 in the bedroom on a wall and have upgraded to a BV4 in my main room. That's the good news. The Bad - I am in Australia. If this is still viable for you let me know. My email is peter.jakes@gmail.com . I am sure you could have this for a very good

  • Re: Calling help from any serene owners

Thanks to all for the help. Yes it does now work. I had to do the menus and then switch off and switch on again.
