    It's not the length of the cord that's the problem, it's that the cord is insanely feeble. Basically if you use them daily, as I do, they will break, because just flexing the jacket is enough. If my third pair croaks, maybe I'll seek to do the seemingly impossible : wire in a decent quality cable. These are £115 now?

    Maybe inquire with your nearest dealer Ben? Mine kindly offered to have them repaired, no prompting required (thank you Steve!).

    I'm on my second pair - both have lost sound to one speaker due to the flimsy wire breaking Natural flexing around the plug does it It's just a matter of time.. I use the A8 a lot, every day Could be an earphone has gone in yours, seems unlikely... Anybody offer any tips on rewiring these things??? I've done a few minor soldering jobs, but
