So far, all of the apps seem to just access the BeoMaster 5 music and push it to the BeoSound 5 via the AUX function -- with low-res cover art. What I'm hoping for is an app that will truly control the BeoSound 5, using the N.MUSIC or N.RADIO function, show the full resolution cover art we normally get on the BeoSound 5, and allow MOTS to take over

It seems to be doing a little better. This morning, it kept hanging and I had to use the remote to toggle between n.radio and n.music to get it out of the hang. Pushing the buttons on the BeoSound 5 would not get it out of the stalled state. I'm now able to get more than one song to play, but there are now issues with missing cover art again.

It has now been about 7 hours since I performed the update. I'm finding that the BeoSound 5 now plays only one song (when telling it to play an album) and then hangs with the screen saying "PAUSE." Is anyone else encountering this? Is the update requiring time to rebuild the database??
Hi Hiller, Thank you for your help. Unfortunately after following all your instructions, the Zektor switch still does not funtion properly. It has happened twice that for some random reason it works for a while but then it goes back to its behavior where it switches immediately back to standby mode after switching inputs
Following on from the CD debate: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/news/a340099/cds-could-be-gone-in-five-years-says-hmv-boss.html
I wouldn't be surprised if it happens even sooner. I haven't bought a CD in years, all of my CDs have been boxed up and sent into storage, and I haven't used my BeoCenter

I would really like to see B&O add streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, Pandora, Spotify, and Vuze to the BeoMaster 5, incorporating it into the interface. That seems the only way to even remotely justfy the added cost of a BeoMaster 5 over a BeoSound 5 Encore. It really should be simple enough to do -- as just about every box nowadays has

There are adapters for the PS3 that can handle all the IR controls except for the on/off. Also, it is very easy to upgrade the hard drive in the PS3. You might also want to consider some of the current blu-ray players on the market. I have a Samsung BD-D6700 that has an external hard drive connected to the USB port. It allows you to navigate the hard
What problems are being experienced since last ipdate?
Since the last update, my BS5 has been having many problems. Cover art sometimes doesn't appear. The GO button is unresponsive and has a very long delay upon startup. The system crashes altogether. I had NONE of these problems prior to the last update

I re-ripped only my favorite artists and cds to lossless for my BS5. For all the rest of my iTunes library, I'm waiting to see what the iTunes Match service will offer. If iTunes Match can replace all of my inferior rips with iTunes Plus quality music, complete with proper tags and high res cover art, that will be ideal. I'm foreseeing a rapidly

I think the comments posted are being quite insensitive to someone who has been struggling with pancreatic cancer. I've had many clients who have struggled with this devestating illness. Mr. Jobs tried to stay active as long as he could. His step down is one of dignity and responsibility.
