  • Re: How to eject a DVD with BEO5

You CAN open the DVD draw on the BeoVision 7 40 MK III using the Beo5 remote. You have to add the button using the config tool. In the IR section of the button search under TV and then type in eject in the box next door. it will bring up all the eject options, just pick the bottom one, it works for me! The only snag is that you have to be in DVD mode

  • Re: Dealer or Home Configuration?

Are you putting your config into seriel 1234etc? When you dock your Beo5 and it asks you to create new config say yes. This will create a new folder in Clients with your specific seriel number. You can go back into Clients to check this. If your seriel number is there, and it will be, go to the folder that your dealer has set up, open the folder, and

  • Re: AppleTV and BV7 Mk3 in a link system?

You will have to use a RF link amp to send the picture and you can only send analogue pictures to link rooms. If you already have RF link amp, feed the apple tv into BV7 Mkiii via component. This should work as you are converting the digital out from apple tv into analogue via component. If this does not work there is a convertor which you can buy.

  • Re: Dealer or Home Configuration?

Hi, Have you place the xml file in the folder that exsists for your seriel number? You probably have, but if you have not, copy and paste it and place it in the folder. Then if you put your seriel number into search for box on the right hand side (on the Beo5 config tool), click search and your seriel should show up in the box below. Double click on

  • Re: BeoVision 7-40 MKIII and Apple TV

You say the IR cable is working. Is it in the correct plug socket on the BeoVision 7 Mkiii? I know it probably is but just to make sure. Otherwise there should be no reason for it not to work. I assume you get the picture and sound fine. Last resorts try switching the BeoVision 7 off from the mains for 5 mins, sometimes this helps, dont know why.

Hi, have you checked the IR cable is the correct place, and that whichever connection you are using has the appleremote assigned to it?

  • Re: Apple TV - Wild goose chase?

Do you have an RF link amp? It will not distribute unless you have. The Bsys 3 does not have a RF link amp built in to the unit. It will def work once you have used your converter that you got from the states.

  • Re: BeoLink issues using passive kit.

Yes I have converted it down to composite from component. You will, unless you already have component IN on which ever B&O tv you own have to buy a converter, which in my set up have it connected via S-video to AV 6 on the BeoSystem 3. You will also need a RF link amp to send it to your other televisions. The picture quality on the BV 9 is not HD
