You can use it on Christmas.

As far as controlling the volume, if you're using iTunes for your music then you can use the Remote app from Apple on the iphone and ipod touch to control volume as well as select music.

The new Mac Mini will have more than enough power to do home entertainment. I have the old 1.83ghz Mac Mini with 1, yes 1, gb RAM and I use Plex, EyeTV (stream to iPad), Ripit, and iTunes on it. I haven't tried watching Plex while streaming EyeTV but I suspect it might work. It runs on 802.11g and still there are no hiccups in the EyeTV streaming

The one on the right won't be easily reachable, physically. Not without needing Tom Cruise's Mission Impossible harness anyway.

Hi, I'm going to set up my BL4000s at my desk and only get one shot to set them up so I'm looking for people who have done this. Basically, my question is: should I face the speaker grilles in or out? As in, should the speakers be firing right at me or should they be firing into the room in general? It doesn't have to entertain a whole room

So to expound on that other thread (the one about what B&O should make)... what feature is your equipment missing that makes you think "this thing would be perfect if it had X"? From my stuff, I think the Beosound 4 needs an optical input. Frankly, everything should be optical in this day and age but the BS4 was the first "modern"

Have you ever thought that your set up would be better/nicer/more fulfilling if only B&O made X product? What is that product? For me it's a cut down Beosystem that does 5.1 (including subwoofer port and built in crossover) and has HDMI control for, say, 4 products. That's all it really needs to do. I don't ask for much in life.

Why don't dealers know this stuff? Seriously, how hard is it to keep on top of your inventory and to know what's what in your supply closet?

So I'm at my local dealer to get a couple of junction boxes. They had the small one for $20AUD or so and then they had one marked "ML Junction Box, Large" for $38 or something. But the large one was nothing but a casing that you could put a small one in. On top of that, it was empty. It seemed sort of odd considering nowhere in the instructions

It's on every version of the site. Haven't seen one in real life though. Looks like this: http://www.textually.org/tv/archives/images/set3/gold-bno-remote.jpg
