I got a copy of the new catalog from my french dealer yesterday and yes the Encore and Beovox are in it with picture and technical specs
BeoGreg, would you be so kind to share a scanned copy of the pages with the Encore pictures and technical specs? That would be much appreciated. Thanks, js

The Beo-Mac section of the forum very well explains how to get unaltered digital signal out of a Mac playing iTunes (directly from the Mac or via the Airport Express optical digital out) by by-passing the internal audio handling of the Mac (as any internal sound processor will alter the sound). The unaltered digital signal is then fed to an external

I read a review in Stereophile which highlights the following issue: as the AE doesn't have a local clock circuit, when the incoming data is interrupted, as it is when you change songs in iTunes, there is no longer a digital output to feed the DAC, which loses lock as a result. I intend to connect a new iPod Classic 160Gb to a B&O receiver. I guess not, so I need to envisage other alternatives. Despite all that was

Phil, thank you for your help. Would you know how to do it for FLAC files (which iTunes cannot read) as well? Thanks again, js

Dear all, Is it possible to copy Apple Lossless, AAC and MP3 files from iTunes on a CD in normal, non-compressed audio CD file standard? The purpose is to be able to play such audio CD on an older Beocenter 9000 or 9500 (stand-alone: not streaming to this one). Thanks, js

Dear all, do we know when the Beosound 5 Encore will be available (or at least when the specifications will be released)? I intend to purchase a Beosound 5 but I am delaying my purchase as I need a confirmation of the Encore specification in order to decide which version best suits my needs. Thanks, js
