I have a pair of Grundig Audioramas hooked up to my BC9500 in the lounge (see my avatar). I have the original receipt from 1976 and they are working beautifully. I will try to put some better pictures on the 'Flash your B&O!' thread Guy

Jason, I tried buying an 'old' box first - a Panasonic TU-CT20 - one of the ones that is currently listed on my TV. It worked fine through the Beo4 but the actual digibox performance (missing and misplaced channels) and user interface was so bad that I have decided to update my STB chip and find a newer/better digibox. I ordered the new chip

I downloaded the guide - very useful thanks (can't think why I never looked at it before!) I will get hold of a Beolink Converter and then experiment. I suppose I could also use an ML/MCL converter instead of the MCL2P and then connect direct to the Beovision using an ML cable.

Hi there, A question that I would welcome views on... I have a Beovision 3 and a Beocenter 2300 in the same (fairly small) room and wish to link them. I also have an MCL2P and a pair of CX50s (to which I have fitted new drivers). If I want to connect the Beovision to the Beocenter, what's the best way to go about it? I suppose it depends on whether

I don't have a Passive - just an MCL2P. I was just wondering whether to start looking for a Passive. Thanks anyway, Guy

Many thanks both Nick and Tony. I guess I won't be taking it to bits to fix anything then! I'll probably keep using it as an amp for the 2300 until I can afford some active speakers - maybe Beolab 2500s. I presume that a Beolink passive also doesn't mute - given that it's a modified MCL2P? I suppose I could rig up an MCL2A but that seems

I have an MCL2P connected to a BeoCenter 2300 with a Mk 2 Powerlink cable. When I mute the BeoCenter, the MCL2P does not mute. To rule out a BeoCenter fault, I connected the MCL2P to my BeoCenter 9500 but the same thing happened. Is the MCL2P faulty or does it simply not mute in this configuration? (Does it only mute when used with an MCL2AV?) I'd

It's been a while since I tried to fix this. Quite a common fault apparently. Anyway I purchased a B&O repair kit that consisted of a new contact foil for the keypad - cost about £25. Took about an hour to fit, but now my son's BeoCenter 2300 is working perfectly!
