    Beocenter 2300 to Beovision 3

    Hi there,

A question that I would welcome views on...

I have a Beovision 3 and a Beocenter 2300 in the same (fairly small) room and wish to link them.  I also have an MCL2P and a pair of CX50s (to which I have fitted new drivers).

If I want to connect the Beovision to the Beocenter, what's the best way to go about it?  I suppose it depends on whether I wish to use the MCL2P and CX50s, or just connect the 2300 direct to the Beovision and use the (active) speakers in the TV - they sound pretty good so far!  I'm not fussed about surround sound (even though the Beovision has the surround module).

Either way, I asume that I need a Beolink Converter, but which type (1611 or 1614?)

    I'd appreciate thoughts/help?

    Regards Guy

Have you got the surround sound mosule in the BV3? If you do, beolink conveter 1611 to BV3 and attach the MCL2P to the front channel of the BV3.

If no module, I would probably keep them connected to the 2300.  Why not download the Product Configuration Guide - it may be helpful.

I downloaded the guide - very useful thanks (can't think why I never looked at it before!)

I will get hold of a Beolink Converter and then experiment.  I suppose I could also use an ML/MCL converter instead of the MCL2P and then connect direct to the Beovision using an ML cable.
