  • Re: Slow Forum

If you're using ie9 try enabling software rendering under Advanced Settings. It's the topmost setting in the list.

  • Re: MP3 Enhancing technology for BeoPort

What you have heard of is probably something like Creative Labs 24-bit Crystalizer. that is supposed to enhance compressed audio. This a hardware feature, so you'll need a Creative sound card. Other manufacturers might have a similar technology, though. In the end it's probably more a marketing gimmick that gives the impression of enhancing

  • Re: Turntable Distortion - Beogram RX-2

Your Creek Destiny apparently has different levels of amplification. The manual says that the preamplifier part of the Destiny should only be in active mode if the source level isn't high enough. You can even adjust the level of amplification, in active mode, at the bottom of your amplifier, but first you need to find out whether passive mode is

  • Re: Turntable Distortion - Beogram RX-2

Could it be that your RX2 already has a preamplifier built in, despite the fact that it usually came without one?

  • Re: WMA Files on Beosound 9000 and Overture

Perhaps you could increase the kbps rate of your mp3 files and get a better quality output. It really depends of what your Ipod is capable of decoding.

  • Re: Beogram 8000 'vs Beogram 8002

Comparing the 20CL with the 20EN I think you would be pleasantly surprised by the 20CL. From a technical and objective viewpoint it has several advantages. A Contact Line stylus means better contact with the groove and therefore a more accurate sound reproduction and less distortion and as a benefit less damage to your records. If I remember correctly

  • Re: New member, new (to me) Beomaster/gram 8000

The power transistors are sitting on the heatsinks. They are darlington transistors, so they are listed as ICs.

  • Re: New member, new (to me) Beomaster/gram 8000

I too found a Beomaster 8000 a few years ago with the right channel dead. As soon as I found out that a channel was dead, just like you described it, I turned the Beomaster off. So I never noticed any problems with the processor or had relays clicking, but I assume that burned out power transistors can do all kinds of strange things to any circuit and

  • Re: TDC digital box

Mvh.
