9 LEE: I can honestly say that the BV5 is the only non HD plasma television i have ever known that people watch and just assume it's HD. They are the bargains of the century at the moment, and if i didn't have a BV9 i would happily still be watching my BV5.. Agree - we have a non-HD BV5, and we love it! I think the PQ is superior to many HD

Dave: In Fact finding nemo the DVD has a set up sequence on the disc, if you own that movie..? I have the disk, but I could not find the set up sequence, neither on the main DVD (#1) nor on the Bonus DVD (#2). Strange.

Hi, the battery in my Beo5 only lasts for about 2 (max 3) hours. When placed in the charger it displays “Charging” constantly. I think that I’ll have to take it to the local BO store. Any other of you that have experiences the same?

I read this thread with interest - does that mean that both the Contrast and Colour should be set to 40? In my BV5 I've set the brilliance to 40, the Contrast to 34 and the Colour to 30. I think that Colour=40 is too much. What is a recommended setting?

Anyone - is it possible to have ONE macro that sends two subsequent Beo4-commands: 1) sends a launch command for the menu on the DVD/HDD unit 2) wait for a while 3) sends two Go-commands (0:000:TV:PLAY) to select the default menu item on the menu? This code does not work - it only displays the menu, and does not select (Go+Go) the default menu item

I found a solution to the 1) + 2) problems above, added just these two lines at the bottom of the maco: 0:000:TV:PLAY 0:000:TV:CDV Then the DVD/HDD does NOT turn itself off, and it is left in DVD-mode The last challenge - #3 above - I've not yet solved... .. I'm programming it to fits our needs . The main purpose for the Beo5 in our house is to have a more user friendly way of controlling the DVD Controller (in our case for a Sony RDR-HX1010). My wife and the kids haven’t learnt the cryptic (poor usability!) “Go+0”, “Go+Red”, “Go + ">” Beo4 combinations

Hei, har selv et BV5 m. 2 BL5 og en BS9000 i stuen. Er imponert over bildekvaliteten til BV5, selv om denne ikke er HD-ready. Har sammenliknet med andre LCD-TVer (også HD-klare), og synes at BV5'en er langt foran, i hvert fall på analoge TV-signaler. Det aller beste B&O kjøpet vi har gjort til nå (vi har også en
