  • Re: Register your Warranty

Does anyone know if this is the same process in the USA? When I buy my B&O things (I always buy from a dealer) all that information, including serial number, shows up on the receipt. But I've never been mailed a separate card or certificate. I know the warranty was registered, because when I call my dealer or the national headquarters, they

  • Re: Beo 5 Countdown- who get the first one...?

I'm pretty sure the US will get the Beo5 later than Europe. So I'm out of the race before it begins. But I can't wait to hear and see y'all's opinions. I've been meaning to ask, what does the acronym "SWMBO" stand for?

  • Re: Best looking CDs in BS9000

jandyt: What a good idea, Aj. You could put a big "B" on the first, "S" on the second then "9", "0", "0", "0"! Sorry, the drugs are wearing off! Andy T. Sorry, I don't think that idea is even worthy of a response!

paddy2042: It is interesting that most of the albums referred to in this post and indeed on most of the posts on this forum are of non-classical music! Sadly, it seems that most classical CDs are SILVER with WORDS on them, not so attractive in a BS9000. I have an Arvo Pärt CD that is a nice aqua blue color, a Messiaen CD with a picture of a fearsome

  • Re: BV 7 & 2009

darioazul: PS, Any thoughts on the following future set with the BV 7(dark gray): BL 7-4 center (, BL 9 (dark gray) fronts, and BL 3 (red) rears. I just saw the new BeoVision 7 in person-- all I can say is "Wow." The speaker combination sounds optimal. If it were I, I wouldn't go with a dark color on the BV7/BL7. It will blend in too much

  • Re: Not very ethical,,,,

mbee: I agree with the fact that what this man does is not very ethical... BUT everyone says that those manuals are free at Beoworld. That's wrong, you have to pay a Beoworld membership to get them. Now consider someone wanting a service manual in order to repair one of his B&O products (or "just in case"). He has two solutions : 1

  • Re: Very nice interior

It is a beautiful room! Like others mentioned above, I don't think I personally would choose to have that much furniture, but maybe the needs of the room demanded it. Maybe it's a hotel lobby or something? And contrary to opinions above, I don't actually disagree with the design statement of the BeoLab 5s in this room. There are horizontal

  • Re: B&O in movies

A famous B&O appearance is in The Devil Wears Prada. Meryl Streep uses it.

I didn't know that Deal Or No Deal was a German show. Neat. It's very popular here in the US.

  • Re: Not very ethical,,,,

This is one of the quandaries about living in a digital age; things are easily copyable and can be uploaded/downloaded easily without a lot of recourse for stopping the one who's doing it. Another point to make: I would imagine that most dealers would be able to provide manuals needed to a customer who'd call and ask, and they would probably
