My BeoSound 2000 arrived with a cassette issue, in that it would play briefly in one direction, switch directions, and then stop. With the belt in question, I contacted B&O and they sent a replacement belt and the drive wheels. The belt and drive wheels just arrived and indeed the old belt had stretched. I just acquired a BeoSound 2000, the CD plays beautifully, but the cassette recorder only plays for about 1 second, then reverses and plays for another 1 second. The same holds true with fast forward/reverse. It has been suggested that I may need new belts, but before I tackle this job, I would like the shop manual. None appears available on this site

This BeoSound included a Beo4 remote. Until now my remotes have been the basic unit that came with my Beomaster 2400 and a 1000 that I acquired for the Beomaster 4500.
