Andy:
Not really a movie, but (due to lack of Beoworld) yesterday, I was watching an episode of "Taggart" from about three weeks ago. The lady detective with the big conk was using a Serene. Andy T.
The Serene in taggart, actually belongs to the actress ; ) On an entirely different eh, subject matter

Just one question: Why do people justify spending thousands on a music system, with 'audiophile' systems running into six figures, yet when a TV is over £3k everybody is up in arms? Could it be that we can only hear the difference and can't see the difference in quality reproduction products?! I hear the following quite a lot and can't

Ok... 1. If you have a Beovision 7 TV and you hardly ever play CDs as you download most things then Bm5 & BS5 should be right up your street. Pop your CD in the TV and go or let BS5 intelligently make up an endless playlist. 2. If you still love your CDs and own any B&O (or non-B&O TV) then hook up a BM5 plus a Beosound 4 or Beocentre 2

hmmm ok - i didn't realise that the new ones didn't have the ability to play SACD yes the couple of discs i've tried have not only 2 channel SACD & 'normal' CD encoding but also 5.1 SACD as an option. and yes I eh... 'studied' the previous HD audio vs BS3 thread - but that's my point - as i'm an audio person more

I never realised that my PS3 is a SACD player! So what would happen if I played a SACD on the PS3 connected to a beosystem3/bv4-50 with BL9? Do I just get really good sound or am I experiencing HD audio Does anyone use their PS3 to regularly play back SACDs - is this the best audio source for the high-end BL9 or BL5? I don't think it would be worth
