  • Beogram CD 6500 Gehäuse-Deckel

Hallo!

  • Re: What is your favourite B&O reciever/amplifier?

Peter, of course you're right – to hell with the figures, I like what I hear The beolab 5000 looks really great, especially the contoured frontpanel with the screws. I guess it sounds just as good!

  • Re: Beomaster 6500 FM receiver

I was even luckier :) – when I opened the beomaster to check the solderings as you suggested I found that the only problem was a very loose, grey cable. Works like a charme again. Thanks for your quick help!

  • Beomaster 6500 FM receiver

I noticed that I suddenly get nothing but static on my preset stations. I don't really listen to the radio a lot so it's not that big a deal. Anyway, is this an "easy" repair or more complicated?

I always adored the 6500/7000 system for its über-minimalist design and the MCP. When I bought mine aesthetics were a factor. As I was lucky to find a pair of RL140s for my Beomaster 6500 and finally replaced the Philips active speakers the BM can now live up to its full potential (though I read it's a little weak for the RLs) and it's

  • Re: beogram 6500 phono setup

@Graham: You're right - that's exactly how it sounds. There actually is a RIAA installed in my Beomaster. I just uploaded a photo to my other post in the German forum . Now the task is to remove the thing, or at least deactivate it. @Peter: Yes, selling could be an option. But then again I'm a little proud that i managed to get a working

  • Re: beogram 6500 setup

Wow!
