beoaus: The recording process would be done (ideally) in a different area to the the BS9000. I may be able to do some juggling though... With the Turntable connected to the BS9000 (aus port) where would I connect the PC for recording? I have a BV7 and gear in other rooms as well... is the headphone socket good enough for recording?... There is a three

mbee: Hi, maybe you can resolve my issue with my brand new 802.11n Airport Express : When I listen to my iTunes Library, there is no problem at all, the sound is correct. When I listen to internet radios via the macbook speakers, there is no problem... But When I listen to internet radios via the Airport Express, I got a lot of sound "cuts"

soundproof: The AE is limited to the Redbook standard of 16bit/44.1kHz. Interesting. Do you have a reference for these specs? I have been searching, but Apple hides them well. Anyway, now I don't have to waste my time to experiment with more bits and higher sample rates. Thanks for the article. Although the experiment hardly reveals the whole truth

soundproof: What's your budget? The LAVRY DAC10, Benchmark DAC1 USB and Grace 902b are all very good DACs, but you'll find headphone amp's and other DACs at half the price of these. The three go for about 800-1000 USD. I just got a separate DAC and the improvement is amazing. While the Mac used to be suitable for background music only, it's

The Airport Express itself produces a humming noise on the Beosystem when the jack-plug is connected to the Airport Express. Any ideas what might cause this ? No idea, only that something

I have a similar cofiguration, from the Airport Express to a Beosound Ouverture. It works fine, except for the sound quality. The Airport's digital/analog (D/A) converter obviously doesn't live up to B&O quality. Fortunately, Airport Express realizes its weakness and offers digital output as well, through the same contact. You buy a separate

Dave: But you have to chose in OR out , it only has one AUX connector. Not at all; you have both. The AUX connector is a DIN plug with lines both in and out. With a small adapter cable from DIN to 4 x RCA I am able to digitze some dear old cassettes with B&O Ouverture quality, incredibly good, actually. Also radio programs can be directed to the

Do they both have an Aux-In so I can plug in a minidisk deck? Actually, the AUX is both In and Out, at least on the Ouverture. Sigmund

Thanks, Jonnie, for the good news. Sigmund
