One of the 'promises' I received when I ordered a DVD 2 was that for a small fee, it could be multi-zoned/regioned. I need multiiple zones because almost half my DVD collection is made up of US and Canadian imports (the latter because they are in French and English). I've just downloaded the service manual for the DVD 2 (thanks very very

I shouldn't think Beo4 will control it, or it would also control other similar Philips products, and Philips remotes would then control certain B&O products. The code strings will be different, but please don't ask me what they are. I think you'll need to use two remotes: the Philips and Beo4 ... not a neat solution.

Karsten, is the list of panels available on the Internet? I'd like to know if the Sharp LC-45GX is there; or something similar of Sharp's.

Hi 355f, I have a two-year old 45" Sharp AQUOS LCD connected to the BS3 via a DVI cable. I just took out the Sharp AV system and replaced it with the BS3. Tom. I don't know of any DB software that would do for you on the Mac, but if that's your only sticking point, buy a new iMac and Parallels software. Parallels runs Windows XP or Vista in a window on the new (and any Intel) iMac, so you could run your DB in that window, and enjoy the rest of the Mac as it is. I also recommend iWork and iLife

I'm not sure about the latest upgrade to the mini, but I had one working well at 1280 by 720. Olivier is right, the higher resolution is limited by the mini's graphics card which shares system memory, or at least the one from a year ago does. Cheers

For those of you guys who say the design isn't for you, ask yourself what should the design be like? Personally I love the new BS3 - DVD2 design. I had a Beosystem 5000 for 15 years; my son has it now. It reminds me of that. If you're worried about the price, you shouldn't be looking at B&O. Buy a Phillips, but don't come whinging
