  • BEOMASTER/CORD 2000 & BEOGRAM 3000 SYSTEM

    I have the following system - Beogram 3000 Type 5901, Beocord 2000 Type 2922 and Beomaster 2000 Type 2912, 2 x Beovox X35 Speakers with 2 Celestion speakers in the 2nd position. I purchased this from new back in 1985 and it has given me years of service without fault, (touch wood)! It has only been in the workshop for servicing so you can imagine how

    Relatively simple question. We really like the Beosound 1, heard it in the dealers sometime ago and was impressed by the rich sound that comes from a relatively small machine. But does it play MPEG 3?

    Wow! Problems with buttons and knobs! I have had my 2000 for over 20 years and the only thing that has gone wrong, (if that is the word), is the cat walked over it and had a heart attack when it wound up to max volume . I just cannot bring myself to move it on. Looks good, (always gets admiring glances from friends), sounds good. What more do you need

    Hi Silicon, I will go along with that. I have a 3000 unit, and have had since about '81, still in perfect condition and still doing me grand service. The local B & O engineers seem to like it as well. I have been quoted stupid prices, (from £200 - £550) but I am afraid that it is not for sale!
