From Beoworld product section: The Socket Unit contains most of the electronics, as well as all external connections. This greatly helps the organising and concealment of the numerous cables needed in a typical A/V set-up. In BeoCenter 2 only a single thin cable, available in 1.8, 3, 5 and 10 metre lengths, connects the Master Unit to the Socket Unit

Hello, I think I found a very ineffective way to connect a Beocord to the Beocenter 2. Normally it should work if you connect a ML/MCL Converter to the Masterlink socket of the Beocenter 2. Than connect an MCL2AV with a MCL cable to the converter. The Beocord simply plugs into the MCL2AV. Greetings Ralf

Thank you Peter, actually i don´t want to connect a Beocord but an IPod dock made by Ridax. It does behave like a Beocord. I think I will have to change the dock to an IR version. That should solve all problems. Ralf

Hello, Did anyone try to connect a Beocord or a Beogram with a Beocenter 2? I don´t want to connect it to the Aux In socket, as I wouldn´t be able to control it with my remote. Does it work with a Beolink converter 1611, or is it only for audio to video and not for audio to audio device? Thank You Ralf
