Thanks Peter I've been down the deep holes and got the front off. The scary bit is pulling the driver out, it's quite firmly stuck in so you have to give it a bit of a yank.

I'm trying to refoam a set of S45s that I picked up with a 7700 beocenter. I've got the front off the speaker, but can't get the driver out - there is a plastic ring at the front holding it in place, but I can't see any screws or method of fixing. Any ideas welcome. SD
