Here in the US we never got any other LCD TV from B&O, so we can't compare to a BV-7 MK II. We will have to wait for you guys in EU to do that. As for the 'Black' issue; comparing the BV-7 to the BV-9 (in the US) the addition of the seperate contrast screen (As on the Avant and MX TV's) has to get credit for a lot of the difference

PoweLink is always 8-pin...the correct question is "how many conductors?' ;-) The 8000's can use ANY PL cable you want to run. I don't think Penta 1's have a PL socket at all; in the case of Penta 2 & 3 you want to run the 8-conductor cable in order to get the data display to work. What stero system are you using? Russ

Hi Christian, 1) Sorrry to disagree with Frog, but you'll need to attach the speakers to the first PL socket (Centre1). See your local shop regarding a PL-Y-adaptor. It is a vagary of the BeoSystem's Software (Imagine a BV-4 with a BeoLab 7-1 for instance). I think you'll see that the Centre speaker can be set for pairs of speakers in the
