    What is the maximum length

that we can run Powerlink cables?  Do we just use the female-female connector to connect 2 Powerlink cords?

I'm sure that I've read 60 metres somewhere but I can't find the reference now.

Just found it on www.beotech.co.uk and it's 100 meters

Re: What is the maximum length

PoweLink is always 8-pin...the correct question is "how many conductors?'  ;-)  The 8000's can use ANY PL cable you want to run.  I don't think Penta 1's have a PL socket at all; in the case of Penta 2 & 3 you want to run the 8-conductor cable in order to get the data display to work.  What stero system are you using?

    Thanks Russ...

I'm using the AV/7000 to drive the speakers linked to a BS9000.

So Powerlinks off the AV7000...... I got the adapters at the speakers to change the powerlink over to the penta 1's...

If i use the 8 conductor wires...can i get the displays to work on the penta 1's off the AV7000??? With the adapters of course...

     Thanks..

I don't think the displays will work with the adaptors.
