  • Brick?

What could the rampant rumors about a new unnamed product be which will be unveiled at the "one more thing" announcement on 14Oct? Currently all we know is that it's codenamed "Brick." -Sal

  • Re: US Dealer Meeting

I am more interested in the more user friendly Beo5, can anyone elaborate on the details? New software? Uncrippled IR? Can the Beo5 finally become the universal remote that brings new customers into the world of B&O? Finally, Mac compatible software????? Come on B&O release some details. -Sal

  • Re: BV8 / Apple TV musings and questions for the group

Hey Mark, Good to see you here again. I don't think your question is pretentious at all, and I really feel like there are quite a few core members here (and I am sure quite a few non-members across the world) who are Apple and B&O fans. First off, I'd like to comment on the fact that the BM/BS5 is not compatible with apple lossless (as has

  • Re: BV8 On the shelf?

jk1002: I have it. It doesn't have the wow design, it is a bit more understated. The only thing that wowed me and still does is the BV5. The idea of having a picture frame on the wall I thought was great. Cheers JK In total agreement with JK... the BV 8 (finally own one) doesn't have the "come look at me!" wow design of other B&O

  • Re: Reliable back up drive

I hope I'm not the only person on Beoworld who adores his Drobo. (www.drobo.com) No-thinking Redundunt storage, and expandable to 16TB. -Sal

There was a thread from the dealer meeting which pointed towards both a BV7 without DVD, and a BV8-40. -Sal

  • Re: iRed and irTrans now offering full iPhone/Touch remote

So, for those of us who are having a hard time navigating the ired2 and irTrans websites trying to find products... What exactly would i need to control both B&O and non B&O products, with a module not connected to my mac, as well as from my iphone and /or beo4? -Sal

  • Re: What will happen with BS9000

timhanna: Im sure all they needed to do was make it read MP3s, id be more than happy really. A carriage / hardware / software update would do the trick, I am sure the chipfab gurus can whip something up in notime, as I have always said, I'd be one of the first to send mine in for an update if it was available to current owners. -Sal

  • Re: Beo5 - where are we?

jk1002: How did you get that to work? So you are not using the STBc inside the TV (doubt your 20 year old has that to begin with). Well I am not familiar with the Beo5 config software, BUT if there is a pane in the SW for where the IR string is stored and edited for soft buttons in there somewhere, all anyone has to do is to get a remote for a non B&O

  • Re: Most beautiful B&O TV ever !

Even though I LOVE my BV8, I'd have to vote for Avant! -Sal
