Solved... ilo using L.OPT - 2 to instruct the IR eye, use V.OPT - 2; Link eye transmits to Beomedia and beomedia will be set to option 2. (So setting VM - 2 in the menus doesn't change the actual option for receiving commands.

Hello All, I have a Beomedia connected to a Beovision 6-22 using a Scart connection. The Beovision 6 obviously has no PC option. I have connected an old style IR-receiver to the Beomedia (one from an old MCL-AV kit). Connected the 5V / ground / data to a 3.5mm plug. If I use a Beo4 the IR-receiver blinks shortly, so I think it receives and transmits

I have restored a B&O Cabinet 2168 (for Beosystem 2). The aluminium front plate is usually connected to the cabinet with plastic clips. My local dealer has some difficulties ordering those. I suspect these are generally available clips, but the question is where to find them. I'm in need of 4 of those clips, and preferably slightly more as they

Grey connectors with the grey wires are sometimes suspicious. There are 2 going from the CD to main decorder PCB. wires break sometimes at the connector. With patience and small screwdriver this can be restored. There are also some transistors on the main CD PCB that are suspect to failure. Mainly SMD transistors.

Found some old stock at the local electronics dealer. Problem solved.

Hi all, After having repaired many faults in the power circuit and replacing the "normal parts" (mute relay, backup battery) the only component left broken is the power relay. I haven't seen them being broken a lot, but probably due to a failure in the 7V circuit the relay coil burnt through (or the other way around). It's the 4PDT

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone has a RDS module for the Beocenter 2300 for spare? No luck yet at my dealer shop so I was hoping someone had one in reserve or so. Kind regards, Guido

If not yet solved, if the disc is spinning counterclockwise at lightspeed check T6314 on PCB 31. -9Volt. This is a SMD transistor on the back of the PCB. Servicemanual page 2-14. Or get a secondhand Philips CD-Player with simmilar PCB's,

If not already solved, check R2 and D13 on PCB3. This solved similar problem for my BC8002.

I think I just found some on Farnell. Suppose the voltage for the IR-transmitter is 5V and the receiver will work like a transistor and is able to switch approx. 15V to 0V when active.
