Isnt there a base in BeoCom 5 for normal use in a normal phonejack?.... Love the look of BeoCom 5 but is abit put of by the idea of another "box"..... MoglesMac

  • Re: How to connect a airport express to a beocenter 9000?

Hi, Have no experience with Beocenter 9000 but I have a Beomaster 7000 wich I have connected my Airport Express to its Tape2. Works very well and I think it would work as well for you. You need a cable like this: http://soundsheavenly.co.uk/bando-ipod.htm Its a teleplug in one end wich you connect to your Aiport and in other side there is a DIN-5 connector

  • Re: Few Beolab Penta -questions

I dont know whats wrong with your Penta 1s but I recall I never got my Penta 1 to run relaiable on normal 2-pin DIN. Worked as a charm on 4-pin DIN (called Speakerlink, or a older version of Powerlink). Also used Line Input (normal screened RCA) but that was on a BM5500 wich had pre-amp output. Think you need a special plug for BM7000 to get pre-amp

  • Re: Beolink 7000 fried?

Thanx for the tip :) The BL7000 did behave correctly when in charger, black with red dot after X sec of no use and when in use fully lit up and correctly communicated with my mainroom. But as soon i took it of charger it then started to "toggle on and off" all the time, thats why i eventually let it sit in charger. It was only in "free

  • Beolink 7000 fried?

Hi, A Beolink 7000 should work w/o batteries as long it sits in the table or floorstand right? I had my Beolink in my tablecharger when I noticed it was indicating source from mainroom wich it never did before (not w/o "tapping"). When i "tapped" the plate nothing happend, no update or coming alive. So I unhooked it from charger

  • Re: Beomaster 4500 makes noise on Beolab 4 when sending data to Beolink 5/7000

Hi, I dont know if this is same problem but mine was related to speaker-cables, at least my "communication-sounds" stoped when i changed to B&O Powerlink Mk2 cables. I had same problem with "hearing" IR-transmission between my BM7000 and Beolink 5000 (never tested with 1-way-transmission). I have Beolab Pentas so i had to have
