Hi I have connected a projector to my Beovision 7 with a DVI cable and in the BV7 menu specified a projector on display 2 but how do I get Beovision 7 to direct the signal to the projector and not the LCD display??? Regards Lars

Actually not. Used to have the "close" from stb but couldn't see the point personally. Now I use the original B&O one wich serves the TV better IMO. I know www.linksupply.dk sell another make off close brackets. Never tried them though. /Lars

I take it your Apple mini has a DVI output? You will get the best result if you get a DVI -> HDMI cable and connect the mini to any of the HDMI sockets on the back. /Lars

Dillen: I couldn't agree more about the wooden panels. It can look so classy and exclusive. My attention was pointed towards these Beosystem 5000 components just a couple of days ago, not the worst DIY job in my opinion; Martin Wauw, very nice. Who did that and where did you see it? /Lars

Does this apply for all sources or is only will listening to CD? Have you tried using a remote to see if it makes any differents? Do you ahve any passive speakers in the house you can try to see if it is both the case with active and passive speakers? /Lars

It will also depend on where you are. In Denmark the market for the 5000 system is almost completely gone by now. Within the last 3 years the market for these systems has gone.
