Very nice to see the addition of (long overdue) HDMI ports. Also find it a bit strange they added a VGA input but dropped the DVI input, with most PC's (or even the Mac Mini) having DVI output I would of thought DVI would stay, and considering you can't do HDCP over the VGA, it means connecting a PC to the BV7 you now need a DVI->HDMI converter

It's a pity the "Text" button on the Beo4 only brings up the analogue teletext, and not the digital teletext. So if I need to view the BBC/Sky's digital teletext, I need the Sky+ remote for that 1 button. .:FS:.

Was speaking to my dealer and he said his should arrive soon, and the price is in the ballpark of £1400 to £1500 .:FS:.

Justin: TVs are dangerous territory to purchase nowadays as technology is moving so fast - which is impacting resale/trade-in values. I have a BV3/v8000/DVD1/motor stand which essentially has no trade-in value, against the near £6000 outlay. Well all of the above would be really nice, but since mine is only 2 weeks old, I wouldn't like to see a new version for about another 6 to 8 months .:FS:.

Ta, I was actually on the belkin site looking at the following http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id=130101 . I was hoping for a simple answer, like forcing the Mac to always output sound as DD5.1 (a software switch in the control panel, maybe), ie ignoring the fact the video/music was encoded as stereo, but then so-much for

Long time lurker, first time poster... so be gentle... I currently have a BeoVision7 40", with Sky (via the SCART) & a XBox360 via the component & R-L audio connectors. I'm thinking of setting up a media center computer and am leaning towards the Mac Mini, and was wondering of how to go about connecting it to the BV7. I know the video
