aha ... ... i have one CDM2 linked to a 16bit DAC ... something is either mislabelled or I am horribly mistaken! Neil

Apologies if this has been asked elsewhere ... but in the last week, I have seen two very different CD solutions in the BC9000 ... one using TDA1540 (14bit) and the other TDA1541 (16bit). Thoughts anyone? I thought they were all 16 bit! Neil

sounds like a plan to me :)

If you were in the UK, I would sort it for £50 and give you a 3 month warranty :)

£425 is outrageous. This kind of issue should be solved for nearly nothing ... the power supply can be taken from an MX4000, 6000, 7000, LX5000, 6000, MS6000, LS5000, LS6000 etc. All of which can be bought for peanuts. Neil

Agree with Peter, although you will probably find your local B and O dealer uninterested. Neil

Looking for same for BC9000 ... even if its a loaner ... can anyone help?

Have recapped the board and on power up the unit seems to focus but after a matter of a couple of second the disc spins down ... on one occasion it did look to get a little further (still no audio) but once in 100 tries is not progress! I have checked supplies and connections and all else seems to be ok. Any help gratefully received Neil

I will check to see if I have a spare. Neil
