Earset 3 went on sale in US a couple of weeks ago. It is also sold in apple stores. I bought an iPhone just to see how well they work together. Marriage made in tech heaven. The apple earbuds are trash. r

"So perhaps if B&o got an older BL 7-4 cover in the supply that was made during the 2006-2007 it might be a lighter anodized dark grey i think." If your dealer has his BL 7 and BV 7 color samples, perhaps you could take those home and compare them to your kit? r

I tend to agree with the boondoggle crowd, though I respect the ability of people to hear what they hear. Having witnessed the damage caused by power surges, I strongly recommend putting your good products on a good protector. Just recently learned that excessive light bulb replacement on any given circuit should be a clue that something is going wrong

BeoPort takes what the headphone jack/audio out sends it. You can turn "system sounds" off on PC different ways with different machines and XP versions under Control Panel/Sounds and Audio Devices/Sounds tab. I turned all those nasties off. That is the only way I was able to end cross talk other than only use BeoPort, only. The real purpose

If you don't mind switching your BL4s on and off, you could use an ml/mcl converter, a pair of speaker level/line level converters (from an auto stereo shop), a pair of RCA cables, and a pair of rca->mono 3.5 jacks to do the trick. An expensive, ugly, and marginal workaround. But it will work. I would trade them in for ML version. Ray
