  • Re: Logitech Harmony Playstation 3 Adapter: Can anybody make a Beo 5 file out of the Pronto Hex file?

I have managed to create a new XML file which seems to work, but I have not hade time to do anything with it and mapping to hardkeys etc is beyond my knowledge of XML. I sent the new XML file to Keith a while back but I do not know if he has had time to look at it and do his usual magic including mapping of hardkeys etc. //Rolf

I have just remapped the available Pronto codes from the Remotecentral site and converted them into Beo5 format via the Lintronic Configurator tool. The commands now seem to work from the Beo5, and I will now spend some time not to map the commands to the Beo5 including the hardkeys. Failing this I'll ask Keith to give me a hand. In any case one

Hello Keith and T.W.G. I have just uploaded the provided Logitech Harmony PS3 Adapter XML file to my Beo5 (s/w 1.41e) with the config tool 3.23. As T.W.G I get no reaction at all from the PS3 (or the Harmony Adapter) despite the PS3 reporting that it is paired with the adapter. I do not own a Harmony One remote so I cannot verify the functionality directly

  • Re: Scheduled s/w update for the BM5/BS5

Sorry to say that there seems to be no news in regards to the promised TV control functionality. Indeed I do not notice any visible changes to the system so it may just be internal bug fixes rather than functionality updates. Ironically the BS5 user interface that is supposed to give information about the lastest updates simply informs that an update

  • Re: BeoTime has Landed!

If its not too late I would love the opportunity to give it a trial at home. I have a fully linked bedroom with a BV5 and a BL3500 to activate as well as two LC2's. My tests would be both technical, but also not forgetting to include the vital WAF test (Wife Acceptance Factor). //Rolf

  • Multiple BeoPort / BeoConnect connections to BM5/BS5

I have just attempted to connect a second PC with the BeoConnect client to my BM5/BS5 system. The BeoConnect client during the setup process cannot connect to the BM5 server. When trying the same from a DOS prompt and using the networking commends NET USE etc. The error mesage that is reported by windows is: "no more connections can be made to

  • Re: BeoSound 5 - scheduled update for Week 29

I have had no issues with the system since the upgrade but "unfortunately" as I have a BeoSound4 in my setup I am unable to make use of the new functionality with the source names which is a real drawback. If any of you have any ideas how to solve this (apart from selling the BeoSound4) then your input would be appreciated. I only use the

  • Re: BM5 built into BV9

The "Kit" required for a build in of the BM5 into the BV9 is due to be released from B&O at the end of June 2009 according to information I just received from BeoCare in Denmark. The actual installation and instructions for the mounting are already mentioned in the Installation Guide for BS5/BM5. Kind regards / Mvh Rolf

  • Re: Run out of Hard Drive Space

Surely with the next promised software version for the BS5/BM5 the topic of disc space will be slightlty irrelevant as this version promises the option of adding networked drives as an input option for the system (much like the functionality available in pre BS5/BM5 BeoPort systems. For the advanced users with a Media Server concept at home with central

  • Re: mounting/stand options

Steph, I have the table stand and did my own installation so I know that a fair amount of psysical force is needed to twist the Tablestand into the right position. Also check that the cables into the BS5 are well clear away from the "wall" of the BS5 so that you have the needed space to fit the tablestand connection into the BS5. It took a
