Wow . Nice surprise for a Monday morning , my internet was off yesterday at home so didn’t pick up my mail till I got to work . I got my son one of these a couple of years ago for Xmas , liked it and thought I would keep it and get him something else but couldn’t find anything . Got to get a bottle of Pimms now. Richard

Had a mouse in my BeoCord 5000 a few years ago , had to rewire about 20 connections , it also had the belts for desert . Richard

My B&o said its due in 4/5 weeks and can only get three . Richard

I had doubts going from a Bv3 ( 32”) to Bv7-40 with a viewing distance of 2.5 mts. , thought it would be to dominating , got adjusted to it in a day and now wouldn’t go back to the 32” . See if they will let you try one for a few days , better than wondering if afterwards . Richard

By increasing the picture size on a Bv7-40 to get rid of the occasional flash on Blu-ray at the bottom left you will upset the resolution . It can be seen on a test card , if you look at the small boxes with black and white horizontal lines these become blurred and go black , white & gray if you increase the size . Last Wednesday/Thursday I went on the B&o trip to Denmark organised by Gavin Sykes ( B&o of Leicester ) . Best day out I have had in a long while , the organisation and hospitality was second to none . Is there a setting to increase the brightness on the Beo4 Cinema version , my one is quite dark compared to other devices with back lit displays . Have to change the batteries regularly as even a small voltage drop dims the display . Richard

Can be done at your home but the back has to come off because the Freeview has to be physically disconnected. That’s what my B&o man tells me , he discovered this the hard way . Richard

My local B&o can do it but said the internal Freeview has to be disconnected first because it sometimes gets screwed up in the process . Richard
