  • Re: Back to the Future.

The BS1 is a big black box that acts as the A/V brain. I don't remember the exact specs, but it doesn't do 1080p. It does a good job processing SD material and 480p/1080i, though. You can use it for audio only and the BS9000 is connected by just the Masterlink. It will use the active center, and has a Powerlink output for the sub as well. I

  • Re: Back to the Future.

I used to have an AV7000 with the BS9000 and it worked OK. I would suggest finding a Beosystem 1 instead, and I think you'll be much happier. I have been seeing them go for around $1500-2000. I upgraded about a year and a half ago and I'm glad I did. I also wasn't willing to spend >$7k for the Beosystem 3 just yet. If you want to use

  • Verison Fios with BS1?

Is anyone using Verizon's Fios TV service? Can you control the STB's with the Beosystem 1? I currently have DirecTV have no problems, but I was thinking of changing out. I fear I will go back to using two remotes.

ChrDH: Yes, someone mentioned a old B&O radio grammophone, but no one knew where in the big castle it was. Some rooms did not have a tv, bud had jacuzzies instead (as if that balances the score...) br Chr. I didn't get a jacuzzi, either! But, I did get a wall between the bedroom and bathroom that was about a meter and half thick (See picture

  • RE:

We stayed at Dragsholm over the summer and I loved all the B&O there. The Lab 4's from the ceiling throughout the common areas was a nice touch. I didn't have a BC6 in the room, though, so maybe those are new. Also, in the guide to the property, it said there was a collection of B&O in one of the rooms. I didn't see it, and the girl

  • Re: Beosystem1 Audio Problem.

The only audio problems I have had with my BS1 have been because of the broadcast. Sorry I'm not much help.

  • Re: BV4-50/Beosystem 1 to Beovision 9 Upgrade

Yes, sounds like a good deal. I love the integrated TVs like the Avant, BV5, BV9. I also think the flexibility of the BS3 with its connections would be nice, along with the built in speaker. You didn't mention what you are using for a center channel speaker. Planning to sell that as well? I'm with JK - find me a dealer with 40 to 60% off and

  • Re: Poll - Apple TV STB Codes

Does anyone know if there has been an update to Beosystem 1 to allow control of Apple TV? I aked B&O US a few months ago and they said "not yet", but I fear they have stopped adding devices to the code list since BS3 came out.
