The dealer I went to quoted € 270 (about £ 210) for the pair - of which I would only need half.

My dealer only offered a set of them (for one big price tag as well) So I wondered whether anyone here knew how to get a single one

Does anyone know whether one could buy a single iron cast foot for a Beolab 8000? (the heavy metal base that the slim lower tip of the speaker slides in?) When moving the one of mine has gone missing :-(

You may accuse me of suffering paranoia - but looking at who won in the last year, the results are at least to be called strange - I will certainly not renew my paid subscription ....

I dont care much about other screen sizes - or even TVs in general with the current pricing politics ... I would love wireless distribution of Audio and Video though (simply always lacking the wiring for distributing the Video signal from my BV5 to the other sets - have masterlink in place - but that's only half the story) ... And: both DIGITALLY

Hello everyone, I am contemplaining upgrading the software of my HDR1 in order to be able to control my AppleTV connected to it. (TV is a Beovision5) This, I hope, will enable full Beo4 control via the IR Blaster. Has anyone done this before? What's a realistic price I should anticipate to pay for this at my B&O dealer? it will be be no problem through an optical-chinch bridge. I believe you possibly would have to use the List's 'AV' command to seperate the audio from video. I do use beovision 5 and appleTV myself - have connected my sets of speakers through the BV5 though to utilize surround sound capabilities of the BV5 One thing I would like to make

If the set is in good condition you should not have any issues with it. Be aware though that some 5500s are two-way IR though and will be a pain programming without a BL5000 or 7000. Day-to-day operation with a Beo4 or 1000 won't be a problem.
