  • Re: Apple TV on Avant works (after "spoof")

I found a solution to this problem with a simple converter and ATV black works well on my Avant DVD. It is covered in a thread entitled "Re: ATV Black - Avant, simple question " as below: Thank you so much everyone for the great input and ideas. The converter I mentioned in my original post did not work as i had not realised there were different

  • Re: Avant Speaker fret

Ok I have managed it, used a knife to just lift the fret a little and it then popped off really easily. A little disappointed though because i was hoping that there may be the possibility of finding somewhere to house my Apple TV behind the fret. This I think would have been the perfect location as the remote would work and it would not really be visible

  • Re: Avant Speaker fret

Thanks Beobuddy, I have had a try and can see what you mean. Is there an easy way to get the "block" past the stopper without damaging the fret at all. I have tried using the vacuum cleaner but this was unsuccessful. Any suggestions appreciated. Peter G

  • Re: ATV Black - Avant, simple question

Thank you so much everyone for the great input and ideas. The converter I mentioned in my original post did not work as i had not realised there were different types of Scart socket for one reason....stupid!. • Re: ATV Black - Avant, simple question

hank you beojeff for responding, do you know the correct resolution that I need to set the ATV to? Also do I need to do this prior to Barry's process or does that bypass this process? Once again many thanks for your great expertise and patience.

  • Beomaster 3000-2 ..........Could it live again?

Some time ago I purchased a Beomaster 3000-2 from EBay. I have spent quite a lot of time cleaning and it and trying to get it back to its original condition. It now looks fantastic and almost everything works perfectly. It is such a beautiful design and made from such amazing materials that I would love to have it functioning, as it should. The problem
