I was using a version 5 Lintronic TT455-RT-238 that I borrowed from a friend. Unfortunately, he needed it back. Needless to say, it was missed so I ended up buying a version 6 Lintronic TT455-RT-238. If you have a need for it, it is a versatile rock solid device.

I wanted to point out an interesting observation I made today regarding airplay. That is, airplay uses the EQ settings of the iPhone. While I believe the EQ settings are off by default, if you have the EQ turned on, airplay will use whatever EQ settings you currently have set. I mention this because I remember a while back I was, out of curiosity, trying
By the way, that was a beautiful piece written by Beophile. Articulate, descriptive and oh so dashing!
Todd...thank you for your kind words.
So how does it compare sound wise to the BS3?
An excerpt from my review which is located on page 2 of this topic... "To put its sound quality in perspective, I compared the Beolit 12 to my Beosound 3. To my ears, it is immediately apparent that the Beolit 12 clearly produces a better quality of sound

Mind you, whether the traditional B&O audience "get" this is another matter entirely. @ enterfornone Perhaps I should have done a more thorough investigation of the clock. The clock is stuck for me as well. While the clock always shows the correct time when I switch the clock on, the clock doesn't update to continue showing the current time. That is, the clock continues to show the time it was when I switched the clock on, and does

Unlike those experiencing problems, the new version of the Beoplayer app is working perfectly on my four idevices (two iPhone 4s and two iPad 2). This version seams to be a lot more refined than the free version I previously used on my old iPhone 3Gs. I'm not sure if it is the iPhone (4s v 3Gs) or the software, but the display now stays illuminated

If B&O ends up supporting ALAC AND comes out with a beonet to masterlink interface (I am not interested in the Beosound 5/Beomaster 5 combo)...there will be a Beosound 5 encore in my future.... ....and hopefully in that future the Besound 5 encore includes a digital output that would allow me to connect to the digital input of my Beolab 5s (alternatively

As a US patent attorney with a lot of experience in telecom products I feel obligated to add to this discussion. Mr. Marks is the inventor of US Patent No. 4,926,474. I have reviewed his US patent and can appreciate his frustration. The body of his US patent does disclose the concept of locating a microphone at an intermediate portion of a telephone
