    Perhaps I should have done a more thorough investigation of the clock.  The clock is stuck for me as well.  While the clock always shows the correct time when I switch the clock on, the clock doesn't update to continue showing the current time.  That is, the clock continues to show the time it was when I switched the clock on, and does so until I switch to another screen.  Obviously this needs to be addressed.
